Working offline when there's no cell signal
Many residential neighborhoods suffer from poor cell reception. CurbClose is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning it functions reliably even when you drop to 1-bar or lose service entirely.
What you CAN do offline: Capture photos: You can continue snapping photos of the property. They will be saved securely to your device's local storage. View cached renderings: Any renderings or material catalogs you viewed while connected to Wi-Fi earlier that morning will remain accessible. Create Lead Profiles: You can draft new client profiles and notes.
What requires an internet connection: Generating new renders: To submit a photo to the engine, you must be online. Syncing to Workspace: Any photos or leads captured offline will display a "Pending Sync" icon.
How syncing works The moment your iPad regains a stable cellular or Wi-Fi connection, the app will automatically upload all pending photos and lead data to your Contractor Workspace in the background. You do not need to press a manual sync button.
