CurbQuoter contractors doubled their average ticket in 6 months

See how a mid-sized siding contractor eliminated design indecision and grew from $8K to $16K average projects.

When Apex Siding Solutions started using CurbQuoter in Q3 2025, their average project ticket was $8,200. Six months later, it had grown to $16,400.

The change wasn't driven by higher prices. Their core pricing didn't change. What changed was which jobs they were winning.

Before CurbQuoter, Apex was competing almost entirely on price. When homeowners couldn't visualize the difference between a $6K and a $12K siding job, they defaulted to whichever contractor was cheapest. With visual renders, the conversation shifted from cost to value.

'Once we started showing people what their house actually looked like with premium materials, the question stopped being how much and started being how soon,' said Derek Huang, Apex's founder.

The second major shift was package size. With a visual tool in hand, their reps started presenting full exterior packages (siding, trim, and shutters) instead of siding alone. Homeowners who could see the complete transformation in a rendering were 60% more likely to add services to the original scope.

Six months in, Apex's revenue was up 94% against the same period the prior year. Their close rate on first appointments increased from 28% to 51%. And their average Yelp review score went up by 0.4 stars: because clients who agreed to a visual quote knew exactly what they were getting before the crew showed up.
